Emily Ross is the author of the YA mystery/thriller, Half in Love with Death, forthcoming from Merit Press (F&W Media) on December 18, 2015, and a beloved figure in the Boston writing community.

With the upcoming winter launch of her debut novel, Emily was looking to establish a website which reflected her dark yet playful author brand and connected readers to her on other social media platforms.

The team at Niemożliwe began by integrating several permutations of faded orb imagery throughout the site to set the tone for Emily’s overarching mysterious author brand. Opting for strong fonts and a clean color palette (black, white, hues of dark green, and toasted yellow tones), Emily’s site walks that fine line between what is seen and what is just beyond view.
